ABOUT US

Genesis Adult Foster Care Home was founded by Meng Policarpio Julian. Her first business opened in 2014, an at-home care company named Genesis Care LLC. Over the course of several years, Meng learned and grew into the experienced professional that she is today and started to dream and work on opening up her own facility. When Genesis Adult Foster Care Home was opened in August 2016, she was very excited to operate and provide a high level of care that she believes her patients deserve. This has always been her goal – to provide Exceptional Personalized Care.

During the first year, Genesis AFCH had quickly filled all of its available beds. Residents and their families were highly satisfied with the service that they received. Their testimony was instrumental in spreading Genesis AFCH’s brand and quality of service. Hence, the second home in Sterling Heights opened in January 2018. Genesis AFCH has since taken off and has opened two additional facilities in Southfield and Troy respectively, to continuously cater to its growing clientele.

Providing the best care has always been a part of our core values. We will continuously strive and ensure that all our residents will experience our Personalized Care in a home-like environment.

It is our mission at Genesis Adult Foster Care Home to provide the best kind of care for each resident. Each of our employees is personally chosen and agree with our patient care values; to always provide the best care possible, to provide care for both the physical and mental needs, to provide a happy and healthy living environment for our residents, and to always strive to be better and improve our methods as we grow. We are a family run business that strives to provide all our residents and their families with that family feeling.

We are an Adult Foster Care Home that centers on the care of the elderly. We accept those that are no longer able to care for themselves. Those with physical limitations as well as those with Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. It is our goal to have our residents be as comfortable and at home as possible. We also aim to halt declining health as well as help our residents in what recovery is possible for their specific situation.

For those with Alzheimer’s and dementia, we try to provide them with the best environment possible. By maintaining a daily schedule and a positive living environment it is our hope that these residents will be happy with little to no stress. While each resident is different and requires different things, we still strive to treat all residents alike. We will always try to include the special needs residents with all the group activities, such as exercising and social activities. We hope that the consistent schedule, as well as repetitive activities, will aid in halting the progression of their disease and possibly improve memory function.
